igubal EFSM 2.0 – the second-generation classic with optimized housing and reduced weight
The EFSM 4-hole flange bearing offers a wide range of advantages that make it ideal for supporting shafts in various applications and industries. It conforms to the E series of dimensions and features maintenance-free dry running, which eliminates the need for external lubrication and thus offers both environmental and economic benefits.
The housing design of the EFSM 2.0 has been optimized for fully seated mounting surface and minimizes dirt ingress. A nature-inspired geometry allows for more efficient use of material, reducing weight without compromising static performance. The optimized stress distribution reduces stress peaks while maintaining the performance of the previous model.
The housing is made of the impact-resistant polymer igumid G, which withstands temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can be subjected to short-term temperatures up to +180°C. The cup materials can be selected from the following options: iglidur W300 (standard), J and J4.
The EFSM 4-hole flange bearing is capable of compensating for misalignment and edge loads. With its very low weight, it helps reduce the overall load on a system and is also corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for use in demanding environments. In addition, the EFSM offers excellent vibration damping and is resistant to dirt and dust, further enhancing its reliability and durability.
