Split J3 spherical insert bearing, injection-moulded, high wear resistance

igubal J3EM SP TP – the endurance runner with particularly high wear resistance in a split version

The J3EM-SP-TP spherical insert bearing, manufactured using the injection moulding process, was developed for our split pillow block and flange mounted bearings. It is made of the high-performance plastic iglidur J3, which is characterised by improved wear resistance at low to medium loads and high speeds. The service life is up to 300% longer than that of iglidur J, the proven top endurance runner material.

Thanks to the embedded solid lubricant, no additional lubrication is required, which makes operation in contaminated environments particularly advantageous.

• Temperature range [°C]: -50 to +90, short-term +120
• Advantages: Maintenance-free, lubrication-free, durable, resistant to dust and dirt, vibration-dampening, good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, very good wear resistance, resistant to radiation intensities up to 1 · 10⁴Gy, PTFE-free, tested for 96 PFAS considered harmful 
• Dimensional series: Based on DIN 626-1 (Rolling bearing - Radial deep groove ball bearing with spherical outer ring surface and extended inner race - Part 1: Insert bearing)
• Application environment: High speeds, maximum wear resistance under low to medium compressive strengths, lowest wear with a wide variety of different shafts, low coefficients of friction in dry operation
