O sistema CF.D permite monitorizar cabos nas calhas articuladas altamente dinâmicos em fábricas inteligentes, reduzindo, assim, as paragens de operações na produção

Na SPS IPC Drives 2018, a igus apresentou um conceito inovador e único a nível mundial para a monitorização inteligente de cabos bus em sistemas de calhas articuladas. Graças a alertas antecipados, mesmo no caso de alterações mínimas nas propriedades de transmissão, o sistema CF.D evita atempadamente paragens não planeadas das instalações. Desta forma, é possível evitar custos elevados decorrentes das perdas de produção.


As cargas mecânicas existentes nas calhas articuladas acabam por alterar as propriedades de transmissão dos cabos bus. Tal aplica-se não só a cursos lineares, como também a movimentos tridimensionais, por exemplo, no caso de sistemas de guiamento de cabos em robôs. Como consequência, ocorrem interrupções na transmissão de dados ou mesmo falhas imprevistas nas instalações. O conceito único a nível mundial apresentado pela igus na SPS IPC Drives deste ano deteta antecipadamente falhas no caso de utilização de cabos bus chainflex. O sistema inteligente é composto por uma unidade de avaliação e um módulo de resposta. Ambos integrados nas duas extremidades do cabo bus em movimento. A unidade de avaliação é normalmente colocada no quadro de comando, no lado do ponto fixo, e o módulo de resposta na caixa de distribuição, no lado do ponto móvel. Pacotes especiais de dados são transmitidos entre os dois para fins de medição, enquanto a qualidade do cabo é permanentemente avaliada com base no número crescente de pacotes perdidos ou danificados. Se for excedido um valor predefinido, o cliente é notificado através de um LED amarelo e da comutação de um contacto. Este alerta também pode ser enviado através de rede e a situação no momento pode ser visualizada num browser. Se um segundo alerta for excedido, tal é sinalizado por um LED vermelho, indicando uma falha de transmissão no bus. Desta forma, é possível localizar rapidamente o erro através do quadro de comando.

A gama de smart plastics continua a crescer
O sistema inovador permite, pela primeira vez, monitorizar um cabo em operação dinâmica sem outros cabos de medição adicionais. O CF.D integra-se no ambiente isense para manutenção preditiva. Desde 2016, a igus tem vindo a desenvolver uma família de produtos sob esta designação, na qual diversos sensores e módulos de monitorização acrescentam inteligência a produtos motion plastics, como calhas articuladas, cabos elétricos, guias lineares e anéis rotativos deslizantes. Estes medem, entre outras coisas, o desgaste durante o funcionamento e alertam antecipadamente o utilizador, para que possa planear reparações ou substituições. Com o módulo de comunicação da igus (icom), a visualização online do estado e de alertas, em PC, tablet ou smartphone e a integração direta na infraestrutura do cliente, tornam-se possíveis. Estes smart plastics já prevêem a duração de vida de numerosas aplicações de clientes, nomeadamente, na indústria automóvel. O próximo passo no desenvolvimento é aumentar a integração dos componentes planeados, como a integração do recetor na caixa dos conectores.
