Especialmente para aplicações exigentes na área da construção civil ou na indústria agrícola, a igus tem agora o novo tribo-material iglidur TX2 na sua gama de produtos, que é isento de lubrificação. Porque mesmo as escavadoras mais pequenas continuam a precisar de 50 litros de lubrificante por ano. Os casquilhos fabricados por enrolamento de fibras suportam forças elevadas e têm uma duração de vida até 3,5 vezes superior em aplicações com pressões aplicadas superiores a 100 MPa.


Máquinas e veículos agrícolas: as indústrias de construção ou de mineração estão diariamente expostas a condições ambientais exigentes. Frio, calor, poeira e sujidade têm uma forte influência sobre os pontos de apoio com movimento. A igus, especialista em motion plastics, oferece uma alternativa às soluções metálicas frequentemente utilizadas com a sua gama de casquilhos autolubrificados. Um novo casquilho fabricado por enrolamento de fibras complementa a já alargada gama de casquilhos injetados para aplicações exigentes.

Cargas elevadas, baixo desgaste
Os casquilhos fabricados por enrolamento de fibras com elevada resistência são utilizados em aplicações com cargas muito elevadas. Aqui, as fibras, devido ao seu desenho entrelaçado, asseguram a máxima resistência mecânica e permitem suportar forças de compressão máximas admissíveis de 400 MPa. O material recentemente desenvolvido foi extensivamente testado nos bancos de ensaio interiores e exteriores no laboratório de teste da igus de 3.800 metros quadrados. Os testes de oscilação em veios de cromoduro mostraram que o iglidur TX2 é cerca de 3,5 vezes mais resistente ao desgaste do que o material standard TX1 para aplicações exigentes. Como todos os casquilhos deslizantes iglidur, o iglidur TX2 é autolubrificado e funciona a seco. Isto impede que a sujidade se acumule nos pontos oscilantes. Isto reduz os custos de manutenção e reparação, bem como as falhas de máquinas devido à lubrificação insuficiente.
