Marketing Officer

  • Support the Operations Director in day to day marketing activities.
  • Support and grow the igus ® client base via active telemarketing initiates (call distribution of catalogues, samples, e-mailing and mailing campaigns etc.)
  • Data base (CRM) enhancements inclusive but not limited to uploading new contacts and companies, updating of the existing database to ensure up-to-date status in all aspect.
  • Setting appointments for igus ® Sales Engineers in line with implemented goals and objectives (KPI).
  • Support the sales team in assigned region with sample preparation and support.
  • Support of all administrative requirements for exhibition preparation, inclusive of invitation cards & flyers distribution, preparation and consolidation of exhibition booth material for dispatch.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for igus® products and services on a variety of media (social, print etc.).
  • Create awareness through Digital Marketing activities for ASEAN Region, both paid and organically.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
  • Review and update of websites to publicize and increase of the company’s products and activities.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies, for example designers, to produce marketing materials such stationary and souvenir items.
  • Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.
  • Plan and manage marketing events and evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activity.
  • Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales.
  • Ad-hoc administration in other work areas as and when required/necessary (e.g. stock assessment for marketing material etc., arrangement of marketing stock for easy movement)
  • It is responsible for all marketing strategies and activities within the company and ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by the management.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the sales team.
  • The role’s goal is to ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add to the highest value to its business.
  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field. New graduates are welcome.
  • Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
  • Good understanding of market research, statistical and data analysis methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
  • A team-player with a customer oriented approach, contribute and work together with the rest of the team to meet the company’s goal & growth objectives.
